With all eight bedrooms offering a lockable three-gun safe, the White Horse Inn is perfect for shooting parties. Local game shoots include Springhead, Bignor Park and Bury Hill, with clay shooting at Hownhall.

With a long and illustrious history, Cowdray Park Polo Club has been the home of the British Open for the Cowdray Gold Cup since 1956. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within Viscount Cowdray’s 16,000-acre estate in West Sussex, the game of polo has been played at Cowdray for over a century.
